Two of my fascinations are brain chemistry and space mechanics. I was recently researching the end of the Earth as well. Apparently it's inconceivably far away but it's still interesting to me. I believe in reincarnation and a lot of things so it doesn't bother me. The universe is amazing *_*

So far, so good. One of the perks of being alive is I can actually reduce entropy, and I’m actively doing exactly that.

Good morning Jonathan. That was a wonderful piece that you wrote, very edifying, and I enjoyed it from the hot tub very much this morning. I had a few comments and observations. The first and these are in chronological order, is that for me wisdom is more important than information. Wisdom is what happens to information after it gets absorbed and processed by an organism over its lifetime. So it's been mellowed and enichened and seems to have greater utility than pure information. Maybe it's information without the arrogance and the testosterone.

I have just discovered a tool that makes my use of the internet far more productive and I'm using it all throughout the day. It's an AI app called perplexity. It basically performs the Google searches I used to perform but then analyzes them and presents me with a far more expansive and considered look at my question with sources and a kind of prose fluency that's lacking in Google. It's really kicking ass for me. Just yesterday I used it to install a complicated solar inverter. I'm using it for everything. I highly recommend it and it cost $9.99 a month. Totally worth it.

You said that all information will be lost when the sun turns to diamonds. Of course you may be right. All we have is theories. However, one theory is that black holes collect and retain all the information they suck in. So it may be that black holes are perpetual libraries. Or some kind of wormholes that project that information into other universes where it goes on.

Lastly, you described DaVinci as a genius of sorts well before his time. That's probably true. But I think what he would say and also what I know Einstein said about himself is that he simply more curious than the next guy. I think that's an important and wonderful observation because let's face it we are all on a grayscale of intelligence and the people who are not at the top well know it and probably self-limit because of it. If they knew that curiosity were their secret power instead of intelligence and the information that it accrues they might have a higher self-esteem. I'm convinced that the core of human disease is low self-esteem. Just my two cents out of the hot tub good brother! I may subscribe after you continue to wow me. I'm contemplating the trip to Ireland probably. Probably won't happen but my God it sounds delightful. Wishing you all the best!

Trip, I agree that wisdom is a special kind of information. I’m glad you found something that makes your Internet experience work for you. There’s a lot to filter through, for sure. Black holes are made of entropy. Maybe the future universe learns what we don’t know.
